Presentation of the monument.

What happen to Mike Brown.

http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/08/13/us/ferguson-missouri-town-under-siege-after-police-shooting.html?_r=0

So gerneraly speaking. Officer Wilson shot Mike Brown in August, and it caused one riot and one liquire store got loot by looters.

In Novenber. After the grand jury annoced that Officer Wilson's shot is justified. Another riot breaks out, and the whole community got ruined by looters.

And behind all this, police was acting very violently in August and they were doing a better job this time in maintaining their manner. While many area they did not attend got ruined.

And media was spreading the wrong information and all kind of race baiting stuff from the first day.

It cause a community ruined and protest in 90 major cities all around America.

  • Project Description:

  • what it is,
  • A column so tall you can see it from everywhere in Furguson, and you can see the whole Furguson on the top of it.

  • what it does,
  • To keep people aware the dangerous of blindly listening to the media instead of use their own judgement. Especially for protesters from other cities around America. This time, we all been fooled by media, they said Mike Brown's death is not justified and we all go outrage and stupid things happened. I am aware how danger it is now. And I want this monument to remind people of this.

  • what it looks like,
There will be relief inside circling around the column and circle up like ribbon.

The contents of the relief will be some iconic picture representing the whole madness. And I will have some space on the top depends on the future.

  • how it works,
There is going to be elevator inside the column, people can go up to the top of the tower and they can see the whole furguson. And while they riding the elevator, they can see the iconic pictures of what happen this time.

  • what it’s made of
  • Marble

  • How it is improbable and how it challenges traditional notions of monument and/or public space, public action, etc

It is a monument not just to memorize the past. But also being a reminder. Let people keep awareness of how danger it is to give our power away to the media and blindly believe in whatever they said.

Where:
It will be built up in the center of these place that ruined from the riot. They will see how much a riot can cost to a community.

  • --------------------------------------------------------------
  • Why it is important; why should we care?

This riot in Furguson and other protest all over around the country. Is another tragedy from people blindly believe in what other people tells them. It just like naizy killing jews, many soldiers might be good guys, but they were just following the order, they see other people doing it so it must be the right thing to do. Right?

Wrong.

We always have to raise the awareness for us to remember the importance of seeing the world through our own eyes. If we dont have our own judgement, what would happen?
Auto pilot, doing the same thing everyday, be used by other as a pawn and you don't even notic that.

This time, 90 major cities had protest, if things went wrong, it could be worse than LA riot in 90s.

Just because people blindly listen to the media.

And who will get the benift? Media.

And the object they protest against, the police department, at the end of the year, Department of Homeland security will have a better reason to ask for more tax payers money to buy more armor vechle , to buy more drones, because they have a decent reason. There is civil unrest, they need to militraize the police.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • Closer
  • People like to be told what to do. People like to depend on others, people want others to think for them. Media does not need you to think. School do not need you to think, well maybe they do. But most of the time they teach you to do math, they teach you to remember the name of countries. That is some good stuff they are teach you. Maybe it is not. Am I being sarcastic here? Who knows. You have to have your own judgment, you have to see the world with your own eyes. To see the world with your own eyes, you will face a lot of situation that you don’t understand, it will be tough. But there will be a deeper reward over time. It is something you do to push yourself out of the comfort zone, and if you keep staying in your comfort zone, what happen to your brain? Auto-pilot, doing the same thing everyday. You want to see the world through YOUR eyes, not your friend’s eyes, not the society’s eyes. Seeing the world through your own eyes, you will get many social feedback. You will get social feedback telling you, you can’t. You will get social feedback telling you, you are not good enough. You will get social feedback all around your brain telling you, why you
Cannot do it. You will get people telling you, dude, you should behave yourself, you cannot self-amuse, you should look for good reaction, you shouldn’t feel good man. Your life is super short, are you ready for this?

The form of the momument

I want it to be like a Column.

With relief pictures of some iconic moment of the riot and protest in ferguson missouri.

And it can show a series events happened through out the whole Mike Brown and Darren Wilson conflict and what fallout after that, from August to November and maybe things follow by later next year.

And these relief will be strap around the column, routing up like ribbons.

Final project design call.

Anti feminism is cool to talk about, but it does not seems like something worthy to build a monument for. Because I think they are not going to make any more productive progress, and nothing is mostly representative for their movement.

So a monumnet for Dr. Matt Tyler.
========================================================================

So I want to go for a monument of the riot in Ferguson, Missouri.

Since the death report of Micheal Brown shows that He has gun powder in his hands, so it tells that when the police fired the weapon, Micheal was not in a standard hands up, surrendering position, and it is possible that he was trying to take the officer's gun by force when the gun goes off.

And look at this
This is a picture Darren Wilson got his face hit and lying in hospital.

So clearly, Micheal Brown deserves been fight back with whatever he has to face at the time and moment.

And why this is not a racial issue?

White Americans are the racial majority, with a 77.7% share of the U.S. population, according to the 2013 U.S. Census. Hispanic and Latino Americans amount to 17.1% of the population, making up the largest minority. African Americans are the largest racial minority, amounting to 13.2% of the population. The White, non-Hispanic or Latino population make up 62.6% of the nation's total.

However

eh...........looks like I fired at my own foot.
================================================================================

Good job media, once again, they make up stuff and they didn't send people to join the riot, they didn't send people to loot the stores, they didn't send people to burn up cars. But they loot the stores and they burned up cars.

So my stand is clear now.

Police state.

All the media's information sending, damage caused by riot, it will leads to one final result.-------Than Unite State will be come a POLICE STATE.

=================================================================================

Ferguson, another big leap forward to American Police state. (Last time could be in Bundy ranch.)

So to fight the drug war, to prevent terrorism, or...........just trying to gain more control?

(I saw this on FBI site before.)

Government gaining control.
